After completing this course, an investor should be able to research an area, create a network of contacts in the industry, and devise a business plan for their investing goals. It is important that a person realize their personal goals as well as their financial goals. Completing this course is a step towards creating a better life.
Instructor
The Real Estate Investing 101 course is taught by Jessica Elgin.
Jessica received her bachelor’s degree in Physics in 1996. This background provided a strong understanding of numbers and helped her to arrive at unique financing options. In 1997 she began a career in professional sales and was trained in contracts in negotiations for the next three years. In 2000 she decided to take some time for herself and left the corporate arena.
Motivated by a quickly depleting source of funds and a desire to stay out of corporate America, Jessica began her investing ventures in 2001. She had only $2,000 and poor credit. This may sound like a bad infomercial, but it’s true. She now owns over $1,300,000 worth of property.
Jessica’s specialty lies in finding the best possible investing course for buyers. By looking at a buyer’s financial situation and goals, she can devise a plan that typically triples an investor’s money in 6 months. She began teaching these skills to her friends, who quickly told others about it. Soon, she began holding small classes to accommodate all of those interested. The demand has become more than she can handle in her smaller courses, and has created the need for the course you are looking at now.
Jessica also does motivational speaking for school children. She discusses adversity and how to use it, instead of letting it use you. She also talks to the children about how to identify opportunities and set goals. She has spoken to over 10 Las Vegas schools on this subject in the last 4 months and is committed to visiting another 12 schools over the next 3 months.

What to expect at the course
When you arrive, you will be put through the registration process. If you did not pay for the course in advance, you will do so at this time. Nobody will be permitted to attend unless they have completed payment by the end of registration. A workbook will be provided with every paid registration. Additional books and web-access can be ordered during the 2nd day at the vendor booths.
During the 2 day course, you will need to devote about 1 hour of your time the first evening to course material. Vendor booths will be available for you to peruse the 2nd day before and after the break-out sessions.
